For my final major project in university, I chose to explore concert visuals for The Prodigy and produced a sample video of different motion graphics that would be featured during a live show. This would include a live feed of the audience with a tracker in response to the story behind 'Their Law'. The footage was sampled from a recording of their show in Milton Keynes Bowl, 2010 (which I was lucky enough to attend).
Much like how Liam sometimes samples from other songs to use within his music, I also wanted to adopt this method visually to appropriate or 'culture-jam'. This can be seen in the black-lit 'protect your hearing' safety sign as well as sampling footage from the band's social media to create the 'freaky face' visual. Also seen through social media, videos and images of the studio used to write their music features random objects and collectibles on and around the equipment, which is reflected in the 'speaker stack' visual.
